How do we celebrate life?
Is it through big birthday parties with millions of kids running around, streamers flowing behind them and cupcake frosting sticking to their faces? Or is it the neighborhood block parties held every summer, filling the whole street with mouth-watering aromas in the act of coming together? Is it the cramming of legs, arms, and feet into the backseats of cars? In the moments when our knees are pressed to our chest and the wind dances with our hair?
It is those times of perfect peace placed in the chaotic-ness within our lives that we remember. The ones that put smiles on our faces or bring tears to our eyes. The ones we replay over and over again until they are etched into our memory. That we remember how we celebrate the wonderful, beautiful life given to us.
